Press Oblivion Sketch Book - Marvel

If you are something like me then you might have spent a better part of your life pining over comic books for the greater part of your natural existence. My First comic was a She-Hulk comic in the early 80's, a character published by Marvel, though my interest in comics didn't bloom until much later in the decade, when I first picked up The Punisher # 11. I was still a budding illustrator then and was really discovering how cool comics could be then. I was a teenager who thought that comics were for little children. After the Punisher I discovered that all of my cartoon heroes started out as comic book creations and I was floored.

I began collecting on a regular basis there after and my drawings were greatly influenced by the great illustrators of the era. It was a steady diet of Marvel comics over the years the lead me to my current drawing style more so than DC. Marvel always had the fresh talent that changed the way comics were made, and the hot characters that you really wanted burn a pencil on. I owe a lot to Marvel and hope to work for them one day.
